at The Arts Center of the Capital Region. The first Winter session of Swing Dance Classes begins tomorrow night (Tuesday 14th) at the Arts Center of the Capit...al Region! All classes will be progressive 8 week sessions! Beginner Swing Dance (6 count East Coast Swing) starts at 6:30 PM followed by Intermediate Swing Dance (more advanced 6 count East Coast Swing) at 7:30 PM and finally Advanced Swing Dance (8 count Lindy Hop & Charleston) at 8:30 PM. All classes are 8 week sessions. No partner needed. Drop ins are welcome! Discounts for ACCR members! Beginner Swing Dance will focus on frame and lead-follow technique for new dancers.This class will be focus on basic triple and single step patterns with simple turns.This class is also for those with some swing dance experience who may want to polish up and refine their techniques. Intermediate Swing Dance will focus on expanding on frame and technique for advanced 6 count triple step moves. This class is for dancers with swing dance experience who want to expand their repertoire of steps. Advanced Swing Dance Class will focus on frame and technique for more advanced 8 count Lindy Hop and Charleston dance steps.This class is for dancers with experience in 6 count triple steps or who have completed the beginner class.This class will focus on choreography for performances.
