As of 8/4/20 General Members meeting Starting this week, (8/3/20) Social distancing must be maintained. Masks must be worn when social distancing is not possible.... Bleachers - Cattle Penning - bleachers are closed Barrel Racing - small groups are acceptable with social distancing, masks are required if unable to social distance Horse Shows - small groups are acceptable with social distancing, masks are required if unable to social distance Under Barn Roof: Only those who are: - working a gate - competing in the current drag/round or next class. - parent(s) and/or trainer assisting competitor After your run please return to your trailer Please follow and respect the committee guidelines and requests which may occur throughout the event.

We are excited to announce we will be having a horsemanship clinic hosted by Abigail Plants. Abigail grew up riding in our arena and now is willing to share her knowledge with us! The clinic will be held on May 15, 2021. If there is a lot of interest then we will add a second day.

There is a post on www.rodeousa.com which states our 2021 rodeo is cancelled. This is a FALSE statement. As of NOW, our 2021 Attica Rodeo is scheduled for August 5, 6, 7, & 8

We would like to send our condolences to the family of Dean Wright on his passing. Dean was a 60 yr. member of the Attica Rodeo & Show Assoc. and one of the founding members who helped build our rodeo and the facility to what you see today. He was an avid horseman, roper, and always willing to lend a hand and a kind word. He also shared is love for horses with his family as they grew in the Attica arena. And as they got older, they continue to volunteer rodeo weekend and co...mpete in the arena. Rodeo weekend Dean could always be found near the front gate or in the roping box. He also advocated for the girls breakaway roping to be an event in our rodeo. Dean, we will miss your laugh and smile. The arena is closed for the year. We have set it for the winter weather. We ask that nobody rides in it until we give permission next spring/summer. Thank you.

Yesterday a great man passed away who had spent a lifetime announcing our rodeo. John D. Downin, became part of our family and will forever be in our hearts. He was a man of integrity and love for his family and friends. Prayers for a safe journey to our Lord and until we meet again at the rodeo in the sky.
