Self-care rituals never looked so good . . . @bethsandland I spoke a lot about ‘hair training’ over lockdown and for the last month I’ve been using @aveda new Botanical Repair range. It’s strengthening plant-derived formulas are designed to repair, prevent and protect your hair using bond technology. This is not just for blondes(!) but a must if you colour your hair, use heat or have been out and about in the sun this summer. My biggest reservation was whether ‘inte...nsive’ would mean heavy, so I’ve been delighted to find that my hair is drying naturally, glossy and lightweight but without the usual frizz and fluffy bleached ends. . . . My top 3 ‘hair training’ take aways have been: 1. Double shampoo the roots and condition below the ears no more than twice a week 2. A leave in treatment is a *must*, especially on the ends 3. A bore bristle brush (or vegan alternative!) is great for moving the natural oils around the hair to prevent greasy roots . . .
