BREAKING NEWS: Windham, New York, 12496 School-aged entrepreneurs branch out coffee business into new retail location. BEAN WISE Coffee, owned and operated by Justice and Maximum Leman, is now being brewed at The Irish Tea Shop in East Durham, NY. Patrons can enjoy a marvelous brew by the cup as well as purchase a fresh pound to enjoy at home. Although we’re known for tea, we also provide coffee to accompany our fresh-baked-and-sought-after scones. We’ve been looking for... just the right coffee company to partner with, and once we tasted BEAN WISE, we knew we found a match, recounted owner Bernadette Gavin. The BEAN WISE Coffee moguls started their business in 2010. Now ages 15 and 14, Justice and Max have steadily grown their company. Gratefully, a parcel of land near to their parents’ business, Albergo Allegria Bed & Breakfast Hotel, has been secured and plans are still underway to locally roast their own beans. If it wasn’t for homework, we’d have a monopoly on the whole mountain!, remarked Justice. Their parents are proud of the boys’ accomplishments and continue to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit that is an evident part of their family.
