It had potential. It was lived in, dark, drab, modged together. It was balloon framing, needed stability, and the help of both older aesthetics and modern practices. So, so badly it desired owners to help it, not cover it up even more. As the gateway to our farm this little farmhouse on the hillside would twinkle in its dilapidated state, just asking to be ripped open, and loved. The front door faces East and lets the early morning dramatic sunrise’s light in. The wood beams ...creak in the howling wind. The farmhouse sits on top of its hand laid stone foundation proudly and welcomes every visitor to the dead end farm. We saw what it wanted to be. In the middle of December Greg jumped at the chance to serve the little house right! We have: ripped it down to studs installed radiant floors, new windows,and doors re-arranged some walls added Ash posts and beams Greg milled out over the years specifically for this project And now it’s finally coming together, with a long road still ahead.
