Bridge To Fitness 31.12.2020

Here we are again. Another shut down. Not entirely sure how certain things are deemed essential and others aren’t. Let’s compare gyms and casinos. Casinos are essential and deemed safe, gyms on the other hand are not. When I would drive by my local crunch fitness there’s maybe 10-15 cars in the lot at all times of the day. I drive by my local casino and there was at least 50 cars parked out there. Both facilities are about the same in size. So that means the casino has m...ore people in the same amount of square footage compared to the gym. Both setting you have people going around and touching different pieces of machinery. Gamblers are running from slot machine to slot machine. Gyms goers from piece of equipment to the next. Explain the difference. If you say sweat.... when I use to hit the slots I’ve run in to some nasty slot machines and sweaty seats. Im sure the gyms are better maintained than these casinos. Not really seeing a difference between the two, except one helps improve your health and the other doesn’t. Not sure how Cuomo expects these small businesses to survive this shut down. I’ve already seen small businesses close their doors for good. This round I’m assuming double of the number of small businesses are going to close. This is ridiculous. I pray we all survive this closure. Realistically I know we all won’t. This is heartbreaking. Let’s all just wear our damn masks, and get our numbers down so we can reopen. Love you all! Typically during the first consultation I always get I wanna change this I hate my thighs I hate my tummy so on and so forth. My response is always something like Let’s focus on appreciating what you have because some people would kill for what you have. And I also am guilty of doing this to myself from time to time. In my opinion self-love and accepting yourself is the first step to a successful fitness journey. If you don’t achieve that you’ll always hate what you see in the mirror. Instead of picking out the things you can’t stand about your body or just life in general, focus on the things you love about yourself. I challenge each and everyone of you to start giving yourself 3 compliments on a daily basis and watch your attitude about yourself change.
