We are sad to see the rise of hate crime against Asians. Our hearts go out to all victims' families due to the tragic event that unfolded in Atlanta, where six Asian women were murdered. As an organization founded and led by persons of color, we celebrate and promote diversity. With 87% of our clients are Black/African American, Latinx, Asian, Hawaiian, Pacific Islanders, Alaska Native, and American Indian, we understand the traumas created due to racism and its impact on their lives. We believe advocacy for their safety and well-being is central to our work, including standing up against racist violence and harassment. We stand with our Asian friends, colleagues, allies, and community partners in grief, and encourage all of you to find ways to show support to #stopasianhate.

We are so grateful for the support of Robin Hood to address the ongoing food insecurity in Brooklyn. Here are pictures from our emergency food distribution event last week. In collaboration with EngageWell IPA, Bridging Access to Care distributed 150 boxes of fresh produce, eggs, bread, and pantry items in 30 mins. Pop-up Food Pantry today, 3/12, at 11:30 AM at 2261 Church Avenue. Food goes fast. First come, first serve. Help spread the word. #BACNY #community #foodinsecurity #wellness

Step Together invites you to join our community and talk in a no-judgment zone. We know it is impossible to know everything one has experienced, and we keep that in mind by taking a trauma-informed approach. In addition to testing, clinical counseling, and referrals services, we have two weekly support groups for men of color who have sex with men. #steptogethertuesdays #BACny #TraumaInformedCare #gay #lgbt #bisexual #WeCare #HealthyRelationship
