Cab Franc coming through the crusher today - Sue's adding a little yeast to get fermentation underway as it makes its way up the conveyor and into one of our red wine fermenters. Lots happening on the crush pad this week!

Team time! After weeks of busy days in the vineyards and tasting room, we were happy to take a much-needed break and relax at an impromptu harvest dinner on the crush pad. It's always fun when the winemaker dresses for the task at hand - any guesses what Sue is making with these Cabernet Franc grapes??

Yesterday's storm was dramatic, to say the least! Video credit goes to team member Nicole, who captured this amazing time lapse video from a tasting room window.

We started bringing in the Riesling today, and those grapes are gorgeous! These were harvested from our Riemer Block vineyard early this morning, and are already through the press and in the tanks. Harvest 2020 has been spectacular so far, with just a few more grapes left on the vines. If you have a chance to stop by the tasting room, you might even be lucky enough to see it all happening.
