Some information to keep in mind as we enter flu season.

I hope everyone is well as we are entering the summer months and enjoying a beautiful spring, although complicated by the specter of Covid-19. Please don’t let the amazing weather fool you. If you can’t be socially distanced, wear a mask. Asymptomatic carriers can and do spread covid. One study reported better than 40% of cases occurred this way. Be careful and courteous to those around you. I am currently seeing patients in Lindenhurst and focused on well child care and... maintaining vaccines. Sick children are being seen later in the afternoon apart from well children. I have also incorporated telehealth as a regular service and am offering telehealth appointments 7 days a week.
