Here are some facts about gun violence. Without better background checks, guns will continue to fall into the hands of mentally ill citizens. Please sign this petition to decrease suicide by firearms: bit.ly/PACEforHR8 #PSAGV #paceuniversity #takeaction #gunviolence

The House of Representatives passed a bill requiring universal background checks. However, Mitch McConnell refuses to bring this bill to a vote, so we wrote him a letter. Help us end gun violence by signing this petition: bit.ly/PACEforHR8 #PSAGV #paceuniversity #takeaction #gunviolence
SEND AN EMAIL TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES ASKING THEM TO #RESTORETHEVOTE Right now, New Yorkers on parole do not have the right to vote. Although Governor Cuomo recently signed an executive order allowing for manual voter rights restoration for parolees, this measure is discretionary and impermanent. The NY State Assembly/Senate bills A4987/S1931 would ensure that all New Yorkers on parole have the right to vote by making the executive order permanent.... Go to bit.ly/restorethevotepace to send an email your reps asking them to co-sponsor A4987/S1931. #PaceVotes #PaceVoteEverywhere @PaceVotes #LetNYVote #RestoreTheVote @LetNYVote
Sign this to help end gun violence! In February, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would require universal background checks. Background checks are important because they make sure that people who are already prohibited from owning a gun cannot get one, something our current background checks system often fails to do. As you know, the next step for a bill to become law is to pass in the Senate. However, in order for it to be voted on, the Senate Majority leader..., Mitch McConnell, must bring it to a vote. He refuses. In response, we wrote a letter urging him to bring the bill to a vote. #psagv #takeaction #paceuniversity GO TO bit.ly/PACEforHR8 TO SIGN!
