Yonkers Native Opens Exit 5 Food Stand! Yonkers Native Chris Minetos learned how to cook from his dad, Gerasimos Minetos, a chef who's worked at Yonkers' Mont Olympos Diner for more than 30 years. "Right now, it's hard to find jobs so I figured why not try cooking and owning my own place?" he said. ... But it wasn't until the pandemic that the younger Minetos, who goes by the nickname "The Greek," figured he'd give cooking a go and open his own place.
