Good morning, Shiny Friends and Happy Tuesday!!! Well, the hubby and I had a nice little weekend getaway for birth-versary-moon! Yes, a combination birthday, ...anniversary, and the honeymoon we didn’t get when we were married nearly 5 years ago. So we wrapped it all into one awesome weekend! And now it’s back to work for us. Due to the change in season and local visitation, Shiny Sisters will be open Thursday through Saturday, 10-ish to 5 PM, and Sunday 1-4, at 76 West Main St., Cambridge, NY, 12816. Contact/text is 518-285-1073. Mondays and Tuesdays will stay our days off, and Wednesdays will be open by appointment. I have no problem opening up if you call (even on Mondays or Tuesdays). But things are getting busy here on the farm and I’m falling behind. Wednesdays are frequently off days, and I really need the time to get caught up. We are just finishing the chicken coop and a goat barn is next. We are also working on setting up Annie Sloan Chalk Paint classes again, so I’m thinking that possibly Wednesdays will be a designated class day. I’m sure we can work out a weekend day, as well. Good morning, Shiny Friends, and Happy Wednesday! I know I said I was going to be available by appointment on Wednesdays, but I guess I’m not quite ready to go... there yet. So, we will be open today, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 10-ish to 5:00 at 76 West Main St. Cambridge NY 12816. Contact/text 518-285-1073. We will be closed this weekend so that we can be at the Strawberry Acres flea market hosted by the Buskirk volunteer fire department. Strawberry Acres is located on route 67 and the flea market will be held Saturday and Sunday. Parking is $5/carload. Hope to see you there! Shiny Sisters will be having a HUGE blowout at the flea market! Our barn, shop and cottage are all over-full and we need to clear out!!!.
