For those of you fasting, in one form or another, it is the home stretch!!! Take this final week to seek God with your whole heart, journal, pray, read... we realize there is so much spiritual warfare around our homes, community and nation right now, this last week could really be a pivotal moment of understanding for us or that miracle you are hoping for. We would love to hear of any testimonies that have happened during this sacrificial time you have spent with Him if you are willing to share. God bless, keep strong in the faith this last week!!!

Greetings all, as you know the board and I met on Monday night to discuss when we would be getting back to in-person services, and what that would involve. After speaking with public health and their projections for the first part of January, following New Year's Eve, we have decided to set our in-person date for the 31st. I know it is later than you may have hoped, but our goal is to make sure that when we start we can continue. With the numbers in our area continuing to... climb there are two things we definitely want to avoid. The first is obviously the virus itself. While it may have little effect on some, it is very dangerous to others, so we want to do our best to serve both possibilities. The second thing is contact tracing. Within the church, over the past few weeks, we have had some firsthand experience with the effects of contact tracing. Let's just say that it is not something that should be just brushed off. After speaking with public health about how to manage the extent of contact tracing if someone did traceback to the church, it became apparent that we needed to seriously consider that within our choice to go back to in-person. Picking the date of the 31st gives us a clear goal, but also puts us far enough past the anticipated New Years' spike that we should not have to worry about it affecting that goal. When we get back together it will be at a reduced capacity, according to the current guidelines, and there will be some additional guidelines. Those details have not been sorted out yet but we will get those out as soon as we have them worked out. Again, as much as we want to be back together sooner, I hope you understand that this was not an easy decision for any of us.
