You have to watch this video. This happened in our region, but the video should be shared far and wide because it shows how road rage and irresponsible drivers put workers' lives at risk. There's no excuse for this behavior. Your frustration over a traffic backup doesn't trump workers' rights to go home at the end of the day.

Day 2 of our Annual Delegates Meeting begins!

We were delighted to have Elijah Reichlin-Melnick for Senate, pictured here with Southern Region President Anthony Adamo, join us this weekend at our Southern Region Information Day. Reichlin-Melnick is CSEA's endorsed candidate for the 38th Senate District, which covers much of Rockland County and a small portion of Westchester County. He will be a strong advocate in Albany for working people. If you live in the 38th District, please support Elijah Reichlin-Melnick!

Attention Region 3 Delegates!

We were excited to welcome members today to our Southern Region Information Day, held at Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona. This outdoor event gave CSEA members the chance to meet CSEA endorsed vendors in a safe setting and learn about some of the causes we support, including Special Olympics New York and the Fishkill Polar Plunge. Southern Region President Anthony Adamo welcomed Statewide Executive Vice President Denise Berkley and Statewide Secretary Rich Bebo as specia...l guests. With Halloween just around the corner, we encouraged members with young children to bring them in costume to visit a trunk-or-treat, which happened thanks to candy donations from locals and units (and some creativity from LRS Kim Morales). Members received a box lunch on their way out, as well as a CSEA Southern Region memento. Thanks to ALL our volunteers, vendors, and staff for their hard work! Thanks to Rockland County Local President Chris Vogel and the Town of Ramapo for helping us make this event happen. #CSEA #UnionStrong #AFSCME

Officials have released an update on the heart-wrenching school bus crash yesterday in Orange County, in which the bus one of our CSEA brothers from the Washingtonville School District Unit was driving was hit head-on by a truck that crossed the double yellow line. We're grateful to hear that both drivers and the young girl also injured are now in stable condition, and are keeping all involved in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. https://midhudsonnews.com//police-update-conditions-of-th/
