Today’s feature sandwich: Italian Eggplant parmesan: We are starting off with eggplant dipped in flour egg wash and bread crumb and deep fried. We are then piling them up on a garlic butter grilled sub roll. We are then popping that with a muffaletta olive mixture along with our Sunday sauce and topped with provolone cheese and grated Parmesan

We have one more amazing surprise to share about Dell’s Sweets & Treats. We have added to our team one of the most established Bakers in all of Rochester. She will be our master baker for all kinds of Cakes and Specialty Desserts. For anyone that knows me knows everyone eats with their eyes first and presenrstion is everything. I will let the next few masterpieces speak for themselves. Sit back relax and try not to drool.

Today's Feature Sandwich: If you’ve never enjoyed a Monte Cristo, well, we’ve got to change that. What is a Monte Cristo you say? A variation of the Croque-monsieur, the Monte Cristo is made with ham, turkey, swiss cheese, a bit of mustard, and mayonnaise, then it’s dipped in egg, and cooked just like French toast and drizzled with powered sugar. Say whaaat?!? Yep, no joke. It’s kind of crazy, isn’t it? Crazy town is what it is. We’re walking on the wild side with this sandwich, people.

I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream As mentioned yesterday, our custom built Creation Station with be a multi-functional piece. In the first half of the day it will be Creation Station for Donuts. In the afternoon we are converting it over to an Ice Cream Station where your imagination can run wild. With tradition flavors and complete line up of innovational flavors. ... It is quite possible we are living in the golden age of Ice Cream. While creameries are tossing the term Chef’s Created Indulgence. This is a Win-Win for everyone!! Our Creation Station will become the topping bar for delicious Ice Cream flavors like, Chocolate Lovers Chocolate and Old Fashion Vanilla all the way to Caramel Cookie Crunch and Cotton Candy Infused Ice Cream. Ice Cream is so much more than a dessert; it is a vacation from the everyday!!

We now officially have come Full Circle Today is the day The Dell Family reveals the newest addition to the family. We are all very excited to announce in the near future we will be opening up Dell’s Sweets & Treats. This new Dell-icious business will be located at 610 North Greece Road. We will be in the plaza just north of Latta Road and we will be taking over the space where Krazy Cakes & Donuts use to be.... Tomorrow I will share with you all of the New & Exciting Offerings will now be available in Greece. Please stay tuned for the next piece of the puzzle!!!

What Does It Mean to Come "Full Circle"? The phrase full circle refers to the fact that a circle ends in the same place where everything began. My Great Grandfather started Lipani’s Bakery in 1902 on Jay Street a few years after moving to Rochester from Sicily. Over the years his sons and my Grandfather took over the business, and like tradition, soon their sons took over the bakery. ... I remember going there as a little kid, the fresh baked smells hit me as we would be driving down the street. Later in life I worked there part time on overnights. To this day I love the smell of fresh baked goods. In 1988 a tragic fire started in the bread oven and quickly spread throughout the bakery. After almost 2 years of blood, sweat, tears and equity, my Uncle Fran re-opened the bakery. For roughly 7 years and working day and night 7 days a week, my uncle finally had to call it quits with the family business. This was devastating not only to the family, but as the bakery had such a strong hold in the community especially after being in business for over 90 years.
