Wow! A safe live event held in Minoa, NY this year! Time to start training and sign up for the 10th Annual Lake Effect Half Marathon & Quarter Marathon!

The running gods are upon us! Packet pickup will be held this Sunday from 12-3 at Trappers II Pizza & Pub - T2 101 North Main Street Minoa NY. Please go to the side patio and you must wear a mask to come into the patio. Please adhere to all social distancing rules. Slices available for purchase so come hungry . Can’t wait to see you all!

Course is marked! For those of you who want to run the course you can do it anytime you want but any 5 miles will do! Run anytime between 10/18 and 10/31 to earn your race swag for the 2020 Eastwood 5 Virtual Run. You can still sign up through 10/31

To our runners and Eastwood community, it is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our beloved race announcer, Aaron Wood. Many of you remember his voice bellowing through the halls of Henninger before every race. Aaron truly enjoyed being a part of the Eastwood 5 Mile Run and he will be greatly missed.

Our virtual run this year allows you to run the 5 miles anywhere your desires! However, you do have the option to run the normal course route. Our volunteers and Syracuse Police Officers won’t be out there to help ensure your safety from traffic so we remind you to use caution as usual when running the roads on your own.

Let’s be ready to support The Burn Run in 2021! We can’t wait! Seriously we can’t wait.

Registration is LIVE for our VIRTUAL event! Run any 5 miles (although we encourage a challenging 5 miles with a downhill finish) anytime October 18th - October 31st! Post race packet pickup will include a shirt, medal and bib. Post race pickup will be at a location in Syracuse NY (yet to be determined) a week or so after the last day of the race.

Rest In Peace Tom White. You were loved by many and will be missed by all. Tom helped a great deal to start the Eastwood 5 Mile Race over 10 years ago and has volunteered many times over the years. He even drew the arrows along the route many times. You will be missed by all of us here at the Eastwood 5 Mile Run!
