ABOUT THE JOBS: As an ESC Team Member you will be responsible for providing snow and ice management services for various types of commercial properties & multi-location routes. We have available positions in both the New York and New Jersey market. All equipment and trucks are new and in exceptional condition. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years plus of experience driving a plow truck and servicing commercial and industrial locations. Able to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions. Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Valid clean driver’s license. Valid employment documents required. Ability to use tablet/smartphone for two-way communication and progress tracking. Must work well under demanding situations. Fluent English (Spanish is a plus). Supplying a helper is recommended. Willing to take direction and must work well in a team environment EXPECTATIONS Available to be on-call between November 1, 2020 to April 15, 2021. Work shifts will vary depending on the type of event (storm), and can be anywhere from 6-hours, to over 24+ hours long. Ability to work well with other team members to efficiently and safely complete each assignment. This is a hands-on position requiring considerable time in the field. This position will be based out of Queens, NY. ESC Field Operations Supervisor oversees in season and out of season regional operations taking place in the field. The ESC Field Operations Supervisor responsibilities include training, performance monitoring, planning, analyzing, quality control to ensure that seasonal employees in storm are working effectively and efficiently. Time management and self-motivation are key. The field operations manager conducts meetings and prepares analytical reports and summaries for higher-level management. Travel may also be required to regional offices or branches to work directly with them. - Coordinate with sales and marketing executives to develop field strategies and initiatives. Hire, onboard, and train field representatives. Fill knowledge gaps through additional training and professional development programs. Assess and evaluate staffing, compliance and projected needs to maintain quality. Establish, communicate, and evaluate progress towards field goals and benchmarks. Represent field employees to management.
