We at Glimmer Globe Theatre are thrilled to present "Charles Dickens’ 'A Christmas Carol': A Full Cast Audiobook" to mark our eighth annual production of this classic tale! This new audiobook production features the voices of 30 local and regional performers (including many Glimmer Globe veterans and newcomers!) bringing to life every one of Dickens' characters as they appear in the original text. The production also features music by Rob Montecalvo and B.J. Baker, as well as... sound effects, and perhaps some surprises along the way! Michael Henrici (Ebenezer Scrooge) is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and former member of the Academy's NYC Acting Company. A native of Cooperstown, he has worked with several local theatre companies including Leatherstocking (My Three Angels, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Master Harold, Sister MaryExplains It All, Actor’s Nightmare, Sleuth, On Go...lden Pond), Orpheus (Phantom, Chicago, Into the Woods, Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Christmas Carol), and Little Victory (Cobb, Harvey). Michael’s NYC credits include Winter’s Tale, Othello, Macbeth, As You Like It, Hamlet, The American Clock, Così, Bus Stop, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Blood Wedding, Beggars in the House of Plenty, Snowing at Delphi and The Crucible. Recent works with Glimmer Globe include the Compleat Wrks of Wllm ShksprAbridged- REVISED, Macbeth, The Crucible, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Othello, Taming of the Shew and the annual production of A Christmas Carol. He now lives in Phoenix Mills with his wife, Danielle, son, Dashiell, and daughter, Vivienne. Carl Loewenguth (Bob Cratchit) is a singer-songwriter with the funk band Hanzolo. This is his fourth season performing with Glimmerglobe. His past roles include: Earnest in The Importance of Being Earnest, Demetrius in Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Cassio in Othello.

Are you a PLAYWRIGHT, POET, or writer of SHORT FICTION/PROSE? Glimmer Globe Theatre is now accepting written submissions for TWO upcoming winter performances! Now in its sixth year, our annual NEXT! Readings of New Works by Regional Playwrights will select, cast, workshop, and present new performances of three dramatic works by local/regional playwrights, early in our 2021 season! Interested in this opportunity? See the attached flier!... We’re also excited to announce a NEW companion program to the reading series Write Out Loud! a storytelling evening celebrating the work of local/regional poets, storytellers, and writers of all types of short fiction and prose! If their work is selected, submitting writers will have the option to either perform their piece themselves, or work with us to select a performer to present their piece! The final performance will be filmed in person at Fenimore Auditorium in accordance with all social distancing guidelines, and may feature music, projections, original art, and more! Glimmer Globe Theatre and The Templeton Players are thrilled to announce "A Christmas Carol: A Full-Cast Audiobook," a new collaborative performance premiering online this December! This full-cast production will present the complete original text of Dickens' immortal novella, and in addition to music and effects, will feature each individual character being performed by a different voice. In all, we have nearly 40 roles ranging in size from small cameos to substantial leadin...g parts, and are happy to welcome performers, readers, and musicians of all ages and experience levels.
