HOLY WEEK SERVICE SCHEDULE & INFORMATION Palm Sunday: 10:30 AM - yes, we have palm leaves! Maundy Thursday: 6:30 PM (with Holy Communion, no drive-up distribution) Good Friday Tenebrae: 6:30 PM... Easter Jubilee Divine Service: 10:30 AM (with Holy Communion, with drive-up distribution) Easter Breakfast at 9:00 AM - ***reservations required by March 28, Palm Sunday.*** Contact the church office with your name and the number of people in your family sitting together. All services will be live streamed on our YouTube Channel - see GraceNF.org for links. Masks required on entry/exit per NYS policy but may be removed once seated. If attendance reaches over 100 (25% of capacity) we will request masks to be worn throughout the service if able. No reservations required for worship. One year ago... look how far we've come! After NY churches were forced to close in March 2020, our pastor had just a few days to invent a livestream service setup, scrounge up parts, and learn how to operate and broadcast it. We didn't even have a YouTube account, and pastor had never before seen or used livestream software. The organ was picked up by speaking microphones, with severe distortion. The audio went from the old sound system in the sacristy, through multiple adapt...ers, extensions, and splitters, to the camera in the balcony, back to the front through a 150' HDMI cable. Adjustment was impossible and synchronization was an issue. Pops, crackles, and clipping were constant. The streaming quality was poor, and the video was dark. We had no on-screen display capability, so we used a projector. Pastor's laptop ran the stream (Grace had no computer that could handle it), and we used the chapel PowerPoint computer for the hymn words. But it worked, for better or worse, and we were able to bring you the Divine Service. There have been glitches along the way, but we've adapted and overcome.
