With a snow strom on the way, please be sure you have the necessary items in your home to prevent travel. Please remember to clear your local fire hydrant of snow, this gives us better access to them and saves time in case of a fire.

Harrison Fire Department Proposed Renovation Open House

Harrison Fire Department 23.12.2020

Dear Harrison Residents, We now need your help and support!!!! This year has been a challenge for all us during this COVID19 pandemic. Our Members stood ready to respond to our community’s emergencies. Our Members also recognized the emotional toll this pandemic was having on our community and the world. At a time when things were so dangerous, our members left their families and the safety of their own homes to spread cheer and uplifted the community; by ensuring the Easter ...Bunny made its rounds, organized over 470 Birthday Parades, helped celebrate Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, Graduations, Weddings, Retirements and Teacher Appreciation. We also welcomed home those who were hospitalized by COVID and we Honored and remembered those we lost during this pandemic. This Community outreach displayed by our Members is a true testament to their dedication to SERVICE and to our COMMUNITY. The Harrison Fire Department has been serving our community for 125 plus years and now our 100-year-old building is in dire need of repair and updating. We have proposed a modest upgrade with an extension to our current building. Past proposals for a completely new building were very costly, 2-3 times more than the current proposal. An overview and breakdown of the proposed renovation and cost is located on our website harrisonfd.org . The Harrison Fire Department NOW NEEDS YOU AND YOUR SUPPORT to help pass this referendum. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON!!!! https://www.harrisonfd.org//Harrison-Fire-Department-Build
