VIRTUAL ASSISTED OPEN ART STUDIO - 8 Sessions - Starts Wednesday, Jan. 27. Have you always wanted to try your hand at art? Or are you an experienced artist interested in learning new techniques, materials, or diving into theory? Starting next week, we are excited to offer a weekly virtual open art studio, designed for students to work at their own pace and to explore the mediums that most interest them! Each class will include a deep dive into a medium, such as watercolors,... ink, acrylic paint or charcoal, or a concept or technique, such as line, value, color theory or abstraction. If you’d prefer to focus on just one concept, or a subset of mediums, you are welcome to do that as well. Our teacher, Janine Intervallo, is an experienced art instructor with a Masters in Illustration from FIT. Tuition: Eight classes for $85. Come and join us! Cheers to 2020! Maguette Camara, our world famous West African Dance teacher, is bringing his West African Dance class back to Health & Harmony at Riverdale Neighborhood House! African Dance is a fun way to be physically active and stay fit - a total body workout which uses every part of the body and strengthens every muscle group....
