Don't miss this fascinating new project launch tonight! "Voyages of New Netherland is a searchable, primary source-based directory of more than 300 ship voyages to New Netherland (16091664). The session will feature an introduction by the project developer, Julie van den Hout, followed by a discussion with Charles Gehring of the New Netherland Research Center and Stephen McErleane of the New Netherland Institute. Learn how the database will aid future research on New Netherland and also how viewing New Netherland through the stories of these ships adds a new dimension to our understanding of the colony. A live Q & A with the audience will follow the pre-recorded presentation and conversation.
