Ithaca Qi Gong 29.12.2020

So my rib is healing (I think the two hours in the bright Sun was the best thing for it!), I am not detecting my tooth infection that I battled so I am going to do more today preventatively (as I have been, but I'm going to step it up), and the ice and arnica on the leg from the fall healed it up nicely. I want to get this "2 week Healthy Lifestyle Kung Fu Boot Camp" going in a big way for everyone. I've decided that when I do it I am only going to put it on my Ithaca Qi Gong... page and not here as much. It will be a lot. Some key principles. 5 at 5 a.m. Do as much as you can or as little as you want It's only two weeks to try Write down your intentions and goals Any age, any condition Course curriculum consists of meditative, still and moving, medicinal, physiological, nutritional, energy work, spiritual contemplation, sound, yin and yang exercises, immune and organ balancing and strengthening, human empowerment and healing, and introduction to martial principles. The is free and I am asking for volunteers and donations and tips and time for people to help me manage the schedule and students and lists. If I charged 10 people $1,000 for this, which it's easily worth, I'd have $10,000. Your energy exchange to me is to show me you are taking it seriously and keeping at it. And then telling me your benefits and giving me testimonials. Bio: Teaching Qigong for over 20 years. Healed from many injuries, accidents, and illness. Diverted surgeries and shown the benefits for PTSD treatment. So I am getting ready to start this soon with a bang. But don't worry, by this afternoon I'll be in some flood or fire or a meteorite will fall on me or something. Note: Learn how to push yourself while going slow at the same time. Be disciplined and listen to your body. Expect some pain. Learn the difference between good pain and bad pain. Consider any pre-existing conditions or old injuries and monitor be aware and cautious. Understand you'll hear me say relax and breathe often. There won't be any actual kung fu fighting and there's no boots. I am using those terms as I know them and in general as principles and concepts. You will learn a lot about self defense but that will be direct and indirect and more of a byproduct mostly and not something we will be concentrating on.

For thousands of years there has been five element standing qi gong. My shifu channeled and created 5 Element moving Qi Gong from the ancients and from much study and training. We shake for Fire (most common in qi gong), stomp for Earth, swing for Metal, swirl for Water, and snap for Wood. Simply amazing.

Part of my bio for the kung fu, iron shirt, 5 am, exercise, healthy lifestyle and food choices, mediation boot camp scheduled for the 25th - I have taught 5 Element Qi Gong, Tai Chi essence, and immune boost acupressure for over 20 years and worked with many shamans, healers, doctors, nutritionists, and energy workers of all kinds and from many different traditions. Following are the Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Doctors, Masters I have studied and trained with directly and/or practiced ...their teachings and disciplines. Shifu, or Sifu, means Master, or Teacher, or 'Born Before' - not in physical age. (Shifu - Mandarin, Sifu - Cantonese): - Shifu Maurice Haltom (brought Yoga to Ithaca the same time the family of Sikhs did, master of many disciplines and arts, my main teacher, adviser, counselor, spiritual mentor, and family friend for over 30 years) - Shifu Yangming Zhang (have personally witnessed him heal with his touch, prayers, and blessings and have had the honor to be thrown my him twice in a martial arts seminar!) - Shifu Mantak Chia (one of Shifu Haltom's masters and has written many books on health, healing, and energy) - Shifu Stephen T. Chang (amazing doctor for Western and Eastern medicine. Transcribed ancient medicine scrolls and texts and wrote encyclopedic books on it) - Shifu Chunyi Lin (wrote, "You Are A Healer," and also knows and understands a lot about trauma as he lived through and escaped the Cultural Revolution, broke both knees playing basketball at the same time after coming to the US, and went on to become a skilled martial artists and doctor) - Shifu Jwing-Ming Yang (started the YMAA, amazing doctor, PhD, healer, and martial artist who has written many, many wonderful books and has schools all over the world) All world renowned, all tapped into the healer within and secrets of the universe and human empowerment, accomplished, skilled martial artists beyond what you could imagine, and all wise, gentle, kind, insightful, bright, caring, and highly knowledgeable teachers.

What is kung fu? What are the benefits? A brief introduction.... Let's get semantics out of the way. Kung fu is a Hollywood term made up in Hong Kong to sell movies. Of which very, very few of those movies ever made it to the United States for release. Kung Fu means "Chinese martial art" would be zhngguó wshù. Wu Shu has become a performance art for show with great agility, coordinated moves, and amazing acrobatics and flexibility. Practitioners generally don't spar from what I have seen, are typically teens and early 20's, and groomed in a certain fashion with this astonishing entertainment, but lack the martial attributes, giving even greater health and wellness, essence, and power that an authentic family lineage can provide. A complete kung fu program however includes meditation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, a way of life, warrior-ship, virtue, spiritual and philosophical pursuit, resolve, sacrifice, and physiological alchemy, and a wide range of system that once included archery and horseback and were many different system inside of one system. So Kung fu, as it were, or the Ancient Esoteric Chinese Arts, included Tai Chi and Yoga. Yoga is used in a way in Kung Fu for a warm up and warm down for the muscles. It was used traditionally to prepare and ground oneself as whole in the body, mind, and spirit doing the poses very very slowly, barely moving outwardly to create space in the body so chi can flow. Then a warrior monk would increasingly speed up the poses until they were yang whereas they would move into a work-out, sparring match, work, hunt, or battle. At the end, they would rest and increasingly go back to the still yoga poses with a slow warm down. This left the mind and muscles always relaxed and prepared, powerful, resilient, hardy, and healthy. A way of life. In China, it has been known that if you do Kung Fu slow, it looks like Tai Chi and if you do Tai Chi fast, it looks like Kung Fu. One translation of Tai Chi has been "Power Yoga." Many connections and overlaps between the systems as they are all intimately and intricately connected. Lastly, I profess, from my experience and knowledge, that Tai Chi is the most powerful and effective healing system, in conjunction with TCM, and martial art on this planet to this day we have witnessed. Add:: A couple of more things. A related system is Qi Gong. Animals and babies do these practices innately to move energy around. Energy can cultivate, gather, build, nourish or store, release, and eliminate or release. Or it can become stagnant, diminishes, weakened. You can do these at any age or any condition.

EVERYONE IS INVITED!! Ok, whatever we have to contend with and negotiate and is going to transpire over the next week and a half during this deleterious historical time of year, my son and I are setting up a two week boot camp targeted for April 25th. It will be intense! Kung Fu, Iron Shirt, meditation, yoga, self care, exercise, intermittent fasting, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, getting up early in the morning, going to bed early, perhaps a little Feng Shui recommendations, healthy foo...d choices, reducing Wi-Fi greatly. And a minimum of 5 hours a day of practice is a worthy goal. I will be doing much more. It's free! Advanced treasure trove of knowledge will be shared here and I will be consulting with my Kung Fu Masters who are some of the top doctors, healers, and fighters in the world as far as I am concerned. No experience is necessary and you can do as much as you can or as little as you want. See you there. 5 a.m. sharp. Get ready and bring the list of goals and health issues and things you want to work on with you and write down them in a few sentences or a paragraph or two

Ithaca Qi Gong testimonial. "I just wanted to thank Walter Hartman for giving me a tele-conferencing session of medical consultation. In about an hour he was able to solve the issues I was having with my stomach for over 6 months. I was in excruciating pain from something that felt like acid reflux that wouldn't go away. No medication helped. The simple exercises he taught me immediately relieved the pain. I was doing them for a few days now, they keep being effective. I haven't felt this amazing in a long time. Thank you so much for being a healer, Walter. I'm your forever fan." One of my favorites! Thank you Natasha Marchenko for being such a great student and the kind words. Much gratitude.

Ok, I'm going to try to heal and detox and rise above all this. And ward off. As I teach these, I will employ and work on integrating myself. Important prin...ciple from lost traditions. First, one. Face rubbing. I teach this in a qi gong repertoire I created but mine is a faster pace than what I was shown recently by my kung fu, tai chi master. Go very slow. Breathe and relax. Feel. Rub clean hands up inside of face very slowly up passed the nose until you get to the hairline. Then come down the outside of the face very slowly, breathing, and relaxed until your finger tips are near your chin again. This is wonderful for PTSD and great for trauma and loss. Your face has a massive amount of nerve endings that go to the brain science has learned but the ancients already knew. In this little practice have a good posture also, or lying down, but strive to not have your back resting on the backrest of a chair so you have a straight self supported posture. Also, in this practice, as opposed to the shower qi gong I created, you barely touch your face. Or ever so lightly. Thank you for your review. Try it and you can say a chant perhaps quietly, or even imperceptibly, or utter spiritual or religious words of healing, if you like. Silence is fine but the breathing and relaxing is most important. This has a wonderful calming effect.

Breath and relax and think of Water swishing and swirling. In 5 Element Qi Gong we swirl the limbs around slowly. Joints. Torso, wrists, ankles. Out of the 5 ...it is the one you can do the most amount of movements and exercises and a profound root in self defense. Hips, shoulders, and especially scapula. Much, much healing and martial power in the scapula not tapped into for the vast majority of us unless your a practicing kung fu or tai chi master, as a couple of examples. You can swirl the neck around but go slow. This exercise, movement, practice strengthens and balances our kidneys. Fear comes out of the kidneys. It also does this to the brain, bones, and bladder, following Traditional Chinese Medicine and has a calming effect/affect.

Nothing better than the ancient Crane qigong stomach rubbing exercise, in my opinion, for anything that ails you related to digestive health. It's amazing how few people know about it. I cured Ulcerative Colitis with it. Well, that and other natural practices and principles along with it. Great for overeating, fasting, or just strong digestive powers. It has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine by millions of people for thousands of years but yet the Rockefeller Medic...ine Men and their various cultural revolutions have stripped us from much vital human empowerment knowledge and traditions. It's pretty simple to do and cures, heals, prevents, and treats any kind of major or minor digestive illness. Upset stomach, jet lag, grounding oneself also. Even treats obesity. The Healer is With In.

Here are my immune boost acupressure points. I am giving them away free now. They are not really mine but they are everyone's. When doing acupressure on yourself or others, all must relax and breathe and sit still. Acupressure principle: Steady pressure until jolt of pain. Hold jolt of pain to take as much pain as you can while not killing yourself and knowing you may want to come back and do that point over again. Breathing calmly, slowly, regularly, deeply, and not distract...ed, away from wi-fi as much as possible, turn off, and relax. Remember - 3 points - 2 on the hand, 1 on the foot. Two sides of the body = 6 points. Brief history: I believe two of the points have been around for thousands of years and related to "opening the four gates," but I'd have to revisit that and investigate. However, these three points have only been around for about 40 - 50 years. They really work for knocking out a cold or a flu for most people. You can start at any one of the points and hold for 30 seconds after you find the jolt of pain (you are releasing a chemical into the blood stream, opening up space in the body, and allowing chi or qi to flow) or up to 2 minutes. Let go slowly also. Go clockwise around the body and redo the first point over again last. Which will make a total of 7 pressures on 6 different points on the hands and feet. LI 4, SI 3, & L 3. LI 4 is very common and addresses like 6 different things (organs, stress, tension headache). SI 3 takes some extra manipulation for most people to get the jolt of pain. L 3 CAN BE EXTREMELY PAINFUL. Can make you cry out in pain, scream, or laugh uncontrollably even. Good luck and take care. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Go slow. There are contradictions in the various charts available online and slight differences here and there so study well and compare. There are some lifestyle habits and recommendations and nutrient support ideas that I use in conjuction with this protocol.

Want to hear a crazy way to find articles and sources but works? Change your location to a place where you want to know about on your computer. Use anything els...e but google but if you do, know that information gets increasingly removed now. Go to images and search for what resonates with you for finding out real scandal, corruption, a dirty deal, a lie a politican told, flimflamming, false flags, black ops, coups, primary source storiers, theories, real conspiracies, or what have you. Go to that image and see if it resonates somewhat with what you are looking for or trying to expose what looks like it might have some truth behind it with a critical, open, skeptical mind, and wide eyes. Click on some of them as they will have sources and articles that they came from. Just looking at the image alone first will further provide you with a title and maybe the start of a little description. When it says stuff like CNN, NYT, or sources that you know about, thoroughly checked out already, or have a good idea what narrative they are portending, you'll know to dig further but have comparisons. I have found really great stuff this way. And information, facts, data, science, analysis, historical accounts, and all kinds of things that I was able to connect, verify, and compare. And great news sources this way on related and completely unrelated topics. Here's another tip. You know when the ones that have been pushed for decades, and you've got to dig hard for more than one to compare and contrast, and they somehow disappear some of them after a time period, you know you're improving your skills at finding good information. It's getting a lot harder. Peer reviewed academic scholarly and published papers and figureheads will tell you that if you go to the people, you are contributing to rumors and heresay. LOL

I volunteered and taught Qi Gong, 5 Element Moving style in the Yang Tradition from Shaolin Temple originally, at a retirement home again today for the 3rd time.... Deeply rewarding and rich experience that is hard to put into words, but I'll try a little. I understand what people say now when they tell me my whole character and persona changes or transforms somehow when I teach these ancient healing principles. There is more and more interest, including from family members of the clients and the staff. The clients are really picking it up and I am in my element and it feels really natural. I am amazed not only at the gift of the cosmic energy I have been humbly shown how to tap into and teach but by the awareness and reception and interest by these wonderful people that are my students who are way older than me some of them. And I'm getting up there. They are making major and minor advances in their understanding, range of motion, retention, flexibility, and participation. I am blessed and happy to report this to you.

Now may be a good time to reiterate that I teach immune boost acupressure points that knock a cold, flu, or virus right out of most people. Safe, cheap, effect...ive, preventative also, easy to learn, self care or family care. The healer is within. I'll start making some videos. Starting to teach again. See more

Still working on a few books. Here is my newest one I am putting together: "Face and Eyes Rejuvenation." Practices of yoga, qi gong, tapping, rubbing, and iron shirt to revitalize, balance, and energize the face and eyes.
