My favorite part of closing on a home purchase (especially for first timers) is the sense of relief and happiness after realizing they are finally home owners. This couple finally closed on their cooperative apartment after a transaction with a lot of back and forth during the negotiation part of the process. It all worked out in the end.

Downside is having to travel to a managing agent in Scarsdale for a Brooklyn coop apartment closing. Upside is a happy family closing and moving into their new home before the New Year. It was worth it.

Took several months to close a Harlem apartment building in a very complicated transaction where both sides worked towards a common goal. Closing the deal. Over such a long period of time, the seller and buyer actually developed a friendship!
