In the nearly 9 years since their origins in early 2012, Midnight North has established itself as a mainstay on stages in both the Bay Area roots music scene and on the nationwide touring circuit. Lincoln Hill Farms is hiring a Front of House Manager that is responsible for private and public events and can supervise, train and direct personnel to ensure the success of all events while maintaining a high standard of service. What you will be doing * Ensure that proper scheduling of staff is done appropriately based on forecasted business and in advance without putting department in unnecessarily overtime. * Attend weekly production meetings (BEO review) and internalize... upcoming events. * Oversee all set-up and removal functions to include setting silverware, draping tables, linens, folding napkins and arranging centerpieces/décor are done to the highest of expectations. * Review menu and special food arrangements before each function with the culinary team. * Conduct roll call before each function and explain both menu and service to all service personnel (pre-meal briefing). * Distribute and manage task assignments among personnel and be responsible for completing side work assignments and schedule. * Conduct venue checks on all spaces prior to each event * Ensure quantities of food items are ample and timing of food leaving the kitchen with the chef. * Ensure banquet storerooms are in a neat and organized manner and stocked with all appropriate supplies necessary for meetings and food service functions. Proper inventory should be maintained at all times. * Conducting training of banquet staff in proper set-up, serving, and clean-up procedures * Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations. * Handles guest problems and complaints as needed and professionally. Requirements * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory food and beverage role * Excellent customer communication skills * No two events are the same at our venue and it’s critical that this person is detailed oriented and can multi-task * Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment in the catering facility * Ability to train staff on customer service and systems. * Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers * Must possess a thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry and have sound administrative skills. * Alcohol Awareness Training Program preferred Compensation Package * Full-time Thursday Sunday and Tuesdays weekly in season May October and December * Off-season flexible, remote options available * One-week paid vacation year 1 TO APPLY, EMAIL COVER LETTER AND RESUME TO [email protected].

Sunday morning reminiscing about pre Covid nights at Lincoln Hill Farms... So many smiling faces and happy people! 2020 was more of the same but the smiles were... hidden from view. Thank you to all the amazing musicians that donated their performances to keep the music alive. Thank you to Brian and Marisa Mastrosimone for all that you sacrificed to give our fans a place to go. It's been a beautiful Holiday season and finally some snow to add to the festivities. Thanks to all who brought the cheer and came out to support local vendors, artists and our Farm this season. It’s a merry family fun day with Christmas at the Farm. Admission is free open 11:30-4p. Animals, pony rides, carriage rides and story time with animals @ 12p. Enjoy the sounds of the season with holiday music. Food truck and silo bar open. Carriage rides $10/person, pony rides $7/person.

In what has been a very challenging year, we decided to put on Christmas at the Farm--a holiday-inspired event with socially-distanced fun and activities to help bring a little cheer and joy to the season. Initially, we were asked to host this event by another organization and they backed out at the last minute. We jumped in because we th...ought it was good for the LHF family and community. As you can imagine, pulling off an event like this comes with quite an investment to orchestrate, which not only required us to expand our outdoor space to be safe and comfortable for our guests but modify our facilities for the cold weather, pay for staff and all the details that go into the making. The admission fee is to help us offset some of the costs associated with it. We've heard and appreciate your feedback. We are committed to making Christmas at the Farm an experience that can be enjoyed by all and to build upon for future years. Therefore, we have reduced our admission fee for adults and admission will be FREE for children 16 and under on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays are family-fun day and admission is FREE for adults and children. Our hours of operation have also been modified. From all of us here at LHF, we hope that you join us at Christmas at the Farm and enjoy some good ol’ holiday-inspired fun for adults and kids, catch some incidental music nightly on Fridays and Saturdays and throughout the day on Sundays, and shop local vendors.
