Game over...as if the vaccine rollout wasn’t bad enough

Quick update about the nightmarish distribution of the Covid vaccine- We are not getting any the week of the 22nd of February. Still trying to get through the nonsense! I have reached out to our local politicians and am hoping for a miracle. We are taking names and numbers for when we do get it. Please continue to have patience. It’s been a year already and everyone is fed up, but hang in there. We will get there Denise and Irina

Just found out our moderna shipment is delayed yet ANOTHER week! I am SO over the screwed up distribution process for this city! We have a list of over 300 seniors who DO NOT use the internet! They have been calling, begging for our help to get them vaccinated. We have been trying to help this group of people where no one else is! Why roll out another group to vaccinate when the first group is not even close to done? Should we just write off our seniors just because they are older? I know the powers that be could care less about those in nursing homes but what about those who are generally healthy and want to get back to living ? Can anybody help here?

We were hoping to get some positive news regarding our Moderna shipment by the end of the week but we still are stuck in neutral. We have had NO communication with the city letting us know if and when the vaccine will arrive. Please DO NOT CALL THE PHARMACY FOR AN UPDATE. We will call you when we have more information. We promise At this time we are still ONLY able to administer vaccine to our Senior patients 65 and up. They have not made provisions for us to vaccinate any...one outside this group (and that can change on a dime). If you are in this group and wish to be on our list, please call us at 718-477-5483.
