Former Vice-President Walter Mondale may never have achieved the presidency, but he revolutionized the office of vice-president and was a leading voice for progressive policies for decades. More importantly, he was a good man respected by all. May he rest in peace. https://t.co/IQBFzTz0Z8
Excellent piece by Paul Krugman on why investing in "infrastructure" shouldn't be just about roads, bridges, and buildings, but also technology and people. Our greatest asset is the people of our community. It would be wise to invest in them. https://nyti.ms/3dFV1jO
Second stop for delivering drinks for our Dyngus Day Fundraising Event was to Mitch Nowakowski - Fillmore District Councilmember. He got Flying Bison Brewery's Polonia Pils. Thanks to Mitch and his partner Gary for sponsoring the event, the proceeds of which will help elect our Democratic team this fall. Happy Dyngus Day to all!
