Ed Welch, in Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave writes, "Reckless self-indulgence and bondage to sinful passions are simply not what God intended for human beings. Such behavior has much more in common with a dog than it does with God's design for us. When we indulge ungodly passions, it is as if we are sub-human, licking our own vomit or eating our own feces. These actions might be acceptable in dogs, but they are shameful and disgusting for people created in God's image. So it is when we are controlled by our ungodly desires. We were created for something much more noble than eating feces. We were created to have passions that are directed to the glory of God." (220-21)

Thousands of people on Staten Island are addicted to this or that. Edward T. Welch writes, "Addiction is bondage to the rule of a substance, activity, or state of mind, which then becomes the center of life, defending itself from the truth so that even bad consequences don't bring repentance, and leading to further estrangement from God." I want to be used by God to make a difference in the lives of people enslaved in their addictions on Staten Island, New York.

Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! 24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Missions Multiplier has freedom to exist because God appointed soldiers to preserve our freedoms (Rom 13). Thank you all Veterans!
