This is the bus that made a fuss When Rosa Parks did not give up her seat For a Jim Crow law that was simply unjust! Translation: This is the actual bus that Rosa Parks' refuse to give up her seat on for an unjust segregation law in the south. Her stand help start the Montgomery boycott which lead to the Civil Rights Movement. The bus now sits, fully restored, in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. It acts as a reminder of her courageous activism and all the sacrifices made by those who came before us!

Big Willie Robinson (1942-2012) was a legendary street racer who bridged the gap between the people, A-listers, and lawmakers in the mid-60s, bringing peace to a racially torn Los Angeles. After the Watts riots in 1965, the city was on the edge of implosion, with rival gangs and police warring in the streets. The six-foot, six-inch, 300-pound Big Willie returned home from the Vietnam War to become one of the most influential men in LA history. Using his larger than life persona and build, he brought mortal enemies together through a passion for cars and street racing.

Garrett Morgan (18771963) invented one of the first gas mask. Because of repeated incidents of firefighters being overcome by smoke when attempting to put out fires in his hometown of Cleveland, Garrett Morgan wanted to do something to help. In 1914, Morgan obtained a patent for his safety hood a breathing device consisting of a canvas hood placed over the head. A double tube extended from the hood and merged into a single tube at the back. The open end held a sponge soa...ked with water to filter out smoke and to cool incoming air. Shortly after receiving his patent, Morgan had a chance to put his invention to the test. In 1916 a tunnel was being constructed under Lake Erie. One night, there was an explosion in the tunnel. Three separate rescue parties entered the tunnel -- and never came out again. In desperation, officials familiar with Morgan and his device summoned him. Morgan rushed to the scene wearing only pajama bottoms and carrying four of his safety hoods. Police and firefighters, having seen their compatriots descend into the smoky hole never to return, refused to go into the tunnel. Morgan, his brother and two volunteers put on the hoods and went in. Morgan and his crew went into the tunnel again and again, pulling suffocating workers and rescuers to safety. Morgan even helped save the superintendent of the tunnel project by performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on him. The feat gained much publicity for Morgan, winning him numerous medals and helping him sell his invention to fire departments across the country.

Go Speed Racer Go! The Mach Five was designed, built, and created by "Pops Racer" (Daisuke Mifune), Speed Racer's father. It features a set of special devices which Speed Racer used throughout the TV series. In the original 1967 series, the Mach Five is a white racing car with an "M" written on its hood (which does not stand for "Mach 5", but instead stands for "Mifune"), which is their family and Motor Company name.
