An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test used to detect issues in the electrical activity of the brain. EEG is used to confirm or rule out conditions such as: stroke seizures head injury encephalitis... brain tumor encephalopathy memory issues dementia The EEG is painless and safe. To prepare for the test do not use any products in your hair on the day of the test and avoid caffein for 8 hours prior to the testing.
