NY SAVE- Save Animals in Veterinary Emergency

I really want to say Thank You to NY SAVE. My cat was abandoned by his original owner because he was sick. NY SAVE helped with the surgery and my cat is recovering from the surgery. Special Thank You to Pure Paw Animal Hospital. Definitely will recommend this hospital!

Tracy C. and Layla One morning while petting my 7 year old fur baby, Layla, I noticed a small lump on her chest. I take her to the veterinarian and surgery is needed. We are in the middle of a pandemic and I am disabled and I just could not see me being able to afford this and I was devastated! I could not let anything happen to my baby. This is when I started making calls. I had to find some help. I was referred to Four Legged Friends Veterinarian Clinic and told to ask abou...t the NY SAVE program for financial assistance in emergencies. This referral turned out to be the Blessing and Miracle I so desperately needed. The staff and Drs. at Four Legged Friends are AWESOME! They were so very helpful in taking me through the eligibility process, and when I found out my Layla and I met the criteria, I was elated! Layla received her necessary surgery, all testing, and medications. EVERYTHING and is doing very well. Not to mention her Mommy is doing better also, because NY SAVE was there when we needed them, NY Save(d) us. I can't thank them enough. See more

Chiquito is a 7-year old MC Chihuahua who had bilateral mandibular fractures. He was very painful and had to be syringe fed by the owners. His jaw fractures were repaired via a bone plate and screws. His owners report that he is doing very well, is comfortable and is eating on his own.
