She shares her own story, particularly when it comes to treatment-related hair loss, and offers support to other children facing similar challenges: "I would tell other kids who are losing their hair that nothing really changes. You’re still the same you. I felt really, really different without hair, but I still liked it. I even felt liberated!"

Mia, 12, an active teenager from Spain, was diagnosed with severe scoliosis in 2019.
