Kent Haina, a nurse anesthetist, shares his frontline #COVID19 experience this #CRNA week. "Treating COVID patients during the pandemic was a wild, exhausting experience that pushed many of us out of our comfort zones, but was also an incredible opportunity to see the dedication, hard-work, and sacrifice of my fellow healthcare workers. Evelyn is a teen receiving treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone. She shares her own story, particularly when it comes to treatment-related hair loss, and offers support to other children facing similar challenges: "I would tell other kids who are losing their hair that nothing really changes. You’re still the same you. I felt really, really different without hair, but I still liked it. I even felt liberated!"

Mia, 12, an active teenager from Spain, was diagnosed with severe scoliosis in 2019.
