Greater than and less than.... they took turns placing the symbol between the numbers all the way around the circle! They did it 100% correctly!

It was all about stars today. First we became part of one by tossing a yarn ball back and forth across the circle... (‘ look! We’re sitting in a circle but we made a star!’) and then we heard the Grimm’s Brothers’ story ‘The Star Child’.

It’s always fun when I get to relive some fun from my childhood. As I did today when I introduced the kindergarten through third grade friends to these elastic jump rope games! They all took some elastic home to keep practicing. Do you still remember any rhymes? Today they learned ‘ Granny put her stockings on inside out’

Any day when your slipper is filled by St. Nicholas and your teacher made gingerbread cookies is a good day!
