Clarkstown Solar Field is a 2.36 MW ground mount solar system located on a capped landfill in the town of Clarkstown, NY. While the project had a zero development cost, it is expected to save the town $4.6 million! We just love using the sun's rays to turn trash into cash. #solarenergy #solarlandfill
This 340 kW solar system produces more than 400,000 kWh of clean energy annually, offsetting the client's electricity costs by $65,000 each year. #smartsavings #solarenergy #sustainability
OnForce Solar managed the turnkey design & installation of this 1.1 MW rooftop solar system on a large beverage distribution facility in the Bronx, NY using 3,531 solar panels and tilt ballasted rooftop mounting. The solar system produces 1,252,165 kWh of clean energy each year, offsetting 95% of the building’s total energy consumption, saving the client more than $7 million on electricity and avoiding 1,019,565 pounds of coal burned over the course of the system’s lifespan.
Located on 136th Street in Port Morris, you will find the Bronx's second community solar farm! OnForce Solar completed installation on this 190 kW solar system in September, 2018, adding 560 solar panels to the roof’s sun facing side. The energy produced from this solar system is redistributed through Con Edison's electric grid to 28 community offtakers ranging from a large church to low & middle income households in the Bronx all of whom receive cheaper energy for participating in a community solar program. The solar system also averts 209 tons of carbon every year!
Located on 136th Street in Port Morris, you will find the Bronx's first community solar farm. OnForce Solar first installed this 375 kW solar system in 2015 offsetting 100% of the facility's electricity usage and even powering a portion of a second facility, saving the client more than $60,000 per year. In 2018, the client chose to convert the system to New York's newest solar model, Community Solar, which offers an even higher ROI. Since converting the system in 2018, the facilities no longer consume the system’s energy, rather the energy is redistributed to 67 community offtakers ranging from a church to renters to a yoga studio in Manahattan. Meanwhile the client receives an additional revenue stream for the solar energy their system produces!
Cheers to Budweiser for going green, now you can drink responsibly and sustainably! OnForce Solar installed 2,453 solar panels on the king of beers' rooftop in the Bronx, producing 711 kW in peak power generation and offsetting 700 tons of carbon each year.
OnForce Solar installed 2,031 solar panels on the rooftop of this large distribution center in Brooklyn, NY, producing enough solar energy to power 100% of this facility's electricity usage (behind the meter), 100% of another Liberty Distributor's facility's electricity usage (remote net metering), 140 kW of power to be redistributed via Con Edison, providing an additional revenue stream to the client (Community Solar).
Our client, right here in the Bronx, saves $65,000 each year on their electricity costs since making the switch to Solar Energy with OnForce. What could your business do with an extra $65,000/year?
OnForce does a deep dive into #CommunitySolar with BronxNet Community Television host Gary Axelbank. Joined by The HOPE Program to talk about how the new solar program is benefiting the Bronx through cheaper energy and creating new, good jobs.

This unique project in Brooklyn, NY combines three different energy models in one. The 626 kW solar system produces enough energy to power 100% of this facility's electricity usage (behind the meter), 100% of another facility's electricity usage (remote net metering), 140 kW of power to be redistributed via Con Edison, providing an additional revenue stream to the client (Community Solar). #solarenergy #solarpower #communitysolar #renewablenergy
