Prime Time 3

Talk about WOW. Today we had some happy people on Orient NYs Prime Time 3. Action started right off the bat with great recycling action on short Blackfish in the 12 to 15 inch range. We stuck with the shorts for about an hour because we had some tide to kill. In that hour we released well over 150 short togs. Capt Paul then jumped on the "A'' train to Rockaway beach and it 120 feet of water it was a 2 hour slug fest as 21 anglers boated over 160 keeper blackfish (retaining limit) on the 4 to 9 pound range . Only a few remnant seabass came up and we did read large shoals of herring and mackerel in the area. Meanwhile Capt Mike on our sister ship the Jenglo said he had very similar results with fast and furious action on the right stage of the tide also in 110 to 120 foot depths.

Troy and the boys out today in nice conditions fish hard an put a fine catch together with tog to 9 lbs and Seabass to 4 lbs and a few fat cod too boot . It was game on right. Out of the gate for the Prime Time 3 out of Orient NY. Today Capt Paul spun the globe and stuck his finger queens. From the moment the lines hit the bottom the fish were coming up . Mostly shorts at first but as the tide got better keepers were filling buckets. By the end of the tide there were over 300 recycled shorts and a full boat limit of keepers up to 7 pounds. There are still a few seabass around as well. The Jenglo had a good day too mixing it up with fat togs seabass and cod.
