This week is Customer Service Week, a nationally recognized event made official by the United States Congress in 1992. Through all of the adjustments we’ve had to make in light of COVID-19, our Customer Service team’s dedication, talent, and flexibility have been the keys to maintaining the highest level of service we can possibly provide. Working from their homes, hosting virtual fittings and consultations, and learning the finer details of a much different new product in ou...r masks, they rose to the occasion with the stats to prove it. Thus far in 2020, our CX team has: - Fielded 8,003 emails, calls, and web chats regarding our masks - Hosted 1,510 virtual fittings - Happy Houred via Zoom several times to keep up morale In their words: We really didn’t know what to expect with face mask sales. Selling masks, a genderless safety product with 2 standard sizes, is incredibly different from enrolling (primarily) men in our custom clothing offerings. While our ‘make it easy for the customer’ mindset still applies, we’re finding ourselves providing a lot more rapid-response, transactional support these days, versus the conversational, relationship-building interactions core to our clothing business. - Paul, Head of CX "We started offering Virtual Consultations as soon as our office went remote this past spring. In March 2020, the CDC began recommending that "everyone should wear a cloth face cover when they have to go out in public." Unfortunately most masks on the market are uncomfortable or ineffective. So we spent the last four weeks developing a face mask that we'd actually want to wear. Something beautiful, comfortable, and most of all, functional. We chose this smooth 100% cotton shirting fabric with an anti-microbial finish in a beautifully varied light grey melange for both ...its breathability and subtle yet unique look. The filter is removable and consists of 3-layers of non-woven polypropylene, with a polypropylene meltblown core to provide significantly more protection versus fabric-only masks.
