Happy Father’s Day to all the awesome dads out there!

This past Thursday was out first core group meeting for Covenant Church in Baldwinsville. God has already opened so many doors for this plant and we are excited to see where he leads next.

Wisdom and knowledge, joy and suffering, patience and trials, words and the tongue, faith and works. The letter of James does not shy away from topics that have lasting relevance. Writing to Jewish Christians suffering persecution, James wrote from his unique perspective as the half-brother of Jesus Christ. How does the gospel change the believer? Writing to those who profess faith in Christ, James has something to say about the relationship between internal faith and external works. In the end, we learn a great and most important truth for Christian faith and practice: Faith Works. The series kicks off this Sunday!

So thankful to have Jim Murphy come today and share about what God has called him to do in Iowa. If you want to support him more info will be going out this week about that. In the meantime please pray for him and his family as they plant this church in Iowa.

Sunday Service 11/1/20

We are so excited to finally be able to partake in the Lord’s Supper tomorrow. After 8 long months without it tomorrow is going to be a joyous day as we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

Don’t forget to set your deloreans back one hour this Sunday it is daylight savings time.

EXCITING NEWS!! Listen to Mike Mazzye share exciting news in regard to our plan for the Lord's Supper at Renovation Church. Starting this Sunday, November 1st, and every first Sunday of the month, for the time being, we will be participating in the Lord's Supper. It is our desire to remain COVID compliant in this, and the video will help outline some changes to the distribution and participation of this during service. We're excited to add the Lords' Supper back into our service and can't wait to participate in it once again, with God's people at Reno!

Shepherd the Flock Pastors’ Retreat was awesome this past Saturday. We were so thankful to be able to bless pastors from all over CNY. It was a day of practical teaching from Brian Croft, hearing about the vision for Scotland from 20schemes, awesome food from Chick-fil-A Cicero and Glazed & Confused Syracuse, and most importantly time for these pastors to rest and recharge. Also, huge thanks to the teams that made this possible! We couldn’t have done it without you.
