Both Master K and Master Refino has had opportunities to train with them and we always learn so much! Never stop learning, training, and growing!

We miss this! We relish the opportunity to celebrate the year with our families and although this year has been different in every way, we are excited to finish the year strong with each other! We are excited to kick in 2021 with our students! They say "absence makes the heart grow fonder" and we are already looking forward to nights like these in 2021 with our families all safe, healthy, and happy!

We are proud of all their hard work and diligence in training for tournaments, practicing for demonstrations, and in leading our school during this critical year. They train hard and inspire all of us. We are grateful for a night of remembering that we are united by what we love: Taekwondo. #RisenFamily

LIKE this to support and cheer our students on! We challenged our students this month to run their own "food drives"! We discussed how if we each do something good, we can do something BIGGER together. Our blessing to others can be multiplied! As we approach the holiday season, we spend so much time thinking about all the things we are grateful and thankful for. But there are so many who would love to have just one of our blessings. We are thankful for the opportunity to gi...ve back to our community with our #RisenFamily, and to share with our students the value of giving back and working together for something bigger than ourselves. Happy Thanksgiving! As we reflect on this year, we are filled gratefulness for all our blessings: the health of our families, our students and community here at Risen Taekwondo. Our business and our school where we get to continue sharing our love for Taekwondo, where work doesn’t feel like work. For the patronage and support of all our #risenfamily, every dollar allows us to continue operating our school and share the valuable skills Taekwondo imparts on our students. For your time, love, and commitment to our program and our students. We truly could not do it without each of you and pray each of you stay safe and healthy, and enjoy a wonderful day with your loved ones and family.

Throwback Thursday to March when we felt the same emotional rollercoaster we are ALL feeling now! So much has changed over the past week and yet... we don't realize we are PROS at what we need to do next! Stay HOME! (Especially if you are symptomatic!) #MaskUp ! Wearing a mask allows us to protect OTHERS and is one of the ways we can reduce and slow the spread of COVID-19! Avoid large gatherings and social distance whenever possible! ... #ShopLocal ! We rely on your support! With the upcoming holidays, there is NOTHING that says "I love you" more than protecting your loved ones by putting their health and needs first! We pray our families continue to be diligent and use best judgment to not only protect their families but also each other!

We did it!! We collected over 130 POUNDS OF CANDY for our American Heroes: our Military, our Veterans, and our First Responders through Operation Gratitude ! Thank you to our amazing families who donated their excess candy to #OGHCGB2020 ! Shoutout to The UPS Store 3259 for helping us ship these treats to our heroes!

Kids are SMART Kids are STRONG Kids are RESILIENT It is now more important than ever to have open, honest conversations with our kids as it is critical in developing strong relationships with them for the future. Earning their trust and respect, and modeling safe, healthy, and open communication skills is critical in an increasingly virtual world. We are proud and honored to have these conversations with our students, to let them know they can count on us too! Listen ...to their intelligent responses and engagement during our Bully Busting talk! We look forward to being back to our In-Person Bully Busting Workshop next year!

We are excited to highlight Kate and Ella, who are two of many of our students who touch our hearts and exemplify what we wanted Risen to accomplish in our communities. We challenged our students to run their own "Food Drive and today, they brought in over 100 servings of non-perishable food items! In addition, they ran a craft/art booth over the summer and raised $394.50, half of the proceeds to us and the other half to their school to help purchase PPE to keep studen...ts, teachers, and families safe! We are in awe of their thoughtfulness and dedication to serve their community. You inspire us and many others! ...our students will make a lifelong impact in their community... We wrote this when we first dreamed of what Risen would be and it is an honor to witness it come to life.

To all who have served, thank you for the sacrifices you made so that we can continue living in this land that we love. We owe you everything and we thank you for our freedom that you gave your all to protect. Happy #VeteransDay
