In case you haven't heard about it, this event looks like a lot of fun!
We are incredibly excited to announce that we were one of the projects chosen for the NYS DRI grant and will receive $411,000 to build our whitewater park in Saranac Lake! Thank you so much to our community members and leaders as well as the governor and his task force for their tireless work, support, and generosity with this project. And a huge congratulations to the other projects that also received funding. It's an exciting time for Saranac Lake and we're honored to be a part of it!
Great article featuring comments about the whitewater park! http://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com//public-checks-/

Hello everyone! We need your help for the Saranac Lake Whitewater Park! The public input meeting that we're about to post about is the LAST meeting the town is going to hold before submitting their final recommendations to the state of New York. This is your LAST opportunity to voice your support for the whitewater park before this happens! We appreciate all of your comments and feedback previously, and GREATLY appreciate any additional support you can provide tomorrow nigh...t. The reason this is important is because one of the largest determining factors for this project getting approved is the degree of public support shown. We've already collected over 100 letters of support for the whitewater park, and have left numerous comments electronically and in person for this goal. Public comments in person are JUST as important, if not more important. I'm hoping this is the last time we ask you all to show up to a public meeting and voice your support for a long while. We've been told that this is indeed the last hurrah before we play the waiting game with the state. If we win that waiting game, what's at stake is $400,000 which will completely fund the project. So once again, we'll ask that whoever can attend tomorrow night and voice their support, please do so! LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!
While we won't have a hydraulic control unit for wave modification, how cool would it be to surf on an awesome wave before work? https://coloradosun.com//technology-has-made-the-urban-so/
Here is our response to some of the previous letters to the editor in regard to this project. We hope this further clarifies our vision for the project! https://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com//clearing-the-w/

Here is a recent article sharing another perspective on the whitewater park drawn directly from their positive experience in previous years: https://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com//whitewater-par/ Stay tuned for some more information from the planners of the whitewater park as they share facts of its construction and the vision of its future community impact!

Fantastic News!! The Saranac Lake Whitewater Park was selected as one of the 19 projects recommended to the state for Downtown Revitalization funding! This is a HUGE success and we're very thankful for all of your support. Now we wait and work behind the scenes to ensure we're ready for the state to hopefully approve the project this summer. More information will be provided as we work and wait! Full story: http://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com//saranac-lake-f/
