As a community, we must continue to practice safe behaviors until we are vaccinated, this is the only way to assess risk and ensure safety as it comes and goes.

Regrettably, we report 5 new deaths today. Please keep those families in your thoughts. All of them are in connection with the nursing home. We also have 33 new cases to report today- none of them are connected to the nursing home. Case investigation and contact tracing is underway at this time, please be patient as we continue to work through the ever increasing case load. Please stop the gatherings with people that you do not actually live with. It is simply adding to the... issue when you get together and spread the virus even further. Also, if you get a test and find out you are positive then please stay in isolation and if for some reason you have not been contacted by the Health Department within 24-48 hours of your result then please reach out because there have been some issues from labs reporting the cases to the Health Departments. Thank you. See more

None of the COVID-19 vaccines currently in development in the United States uses the live virus that causes COVID-19. You may have symptoms like a fever after you get a vaccine. This is normal and a sign that your immune system is learning how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19.
