Dark Island awaits! We have been cleaning and preparing for visitors for weeks. Come see us tomorrow for a tour! We can’t wait to see you. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced.

Singer Castle is anxiously anticipating opening for the 2020 season. Current guidelines, established by New York State, allow for Phase 4 businesses to open on June 27. Until then we are working to make our favorite place and your visit safe.

Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come. Singer Castle’s caretaker Scott has been busy spring cleaning throughout the castle. The breakfast room is ready for visitors when the storm passes. See you soon!

In Memory of Ian Coristine 1949-2020 Ian was a great friend of Singer Castle and the River. Over the years Ian provided us with many of the beautiful images that we share with people worldwide and introduced us to many of our great Canadian friends and tourism partners. We will miss his boundless enthusiasm for life and eye for the beauty in the world around us.
