The Highway Department is milling Feather Ln, Marshmallow Dr, and part of Caramel Rd in Commack, then moving to Park, Meridian, Terrill, Collins and Woodland in Kings Park. Lake Ave construction continues just north and south of Woodlawn in St. James. Plan accordingly.

Residents in St. James now have the ability to drop-off their recyclable glass bottles and jars at a new recycling location. The new drop-off bin as located at Lakewood Plaza, a shopping center at 213 Lake Avenue in St. James, just south of Woodlawn Avenue. As glass is no longer included in weekly recyclable collection, all Town of Smithtown residents are encouraged to dispose of their recyclable glass waste at one of the drop-off bins found across the Town.
