Lots of nice day trips, Hudson included! Keep in mind, loves, that the pictures of Spotty are rather dated, and definitely taken before our flood. But we (and other Hudson businesses) would love to see you!

Out of an abundance of caution (and busy staff schedules, and because we love you) we are taking the day off due to Thursday staff having a kid in quarantine because of potential contact with someone with a positive COVID test. We all feel fine, so no worries. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-5:00 as usual.

Updated hours! We’re now open Sundays, 12-5 for the holiday season still just curb-side; our flood damage has made the store a construction site! If you’re looking to buy something from us for the holidays, please call or email us ASAP! If we have to order it, it’s better to get that order in as soon as humanely possible. Santa is experiencing mailing delays this year As always, we appreciate your support & patience. Stay warm & well!

Happy Cyber Monday - Free Shipping all day today at Bookshop.org! Follow three simple steps to support local bookstores: 1. Give books for the holidays! 2. Buy them from us or the independent bookstore of your choice! Our online shop: https://bookshop.org/shop/spottydogbooks... 3. Return to Step 1 until your list is complete! It has been a tough year for us all... except Amazon, which is posting record profits. They don't need your support this holiday season; local bookstores (heck - local stores and restaurants of all kinds) do. Thank you for shopping local!
