The Ballroom At Carey Lake

Thanks for following our 12 Days of Christmas: The Ballroom edition! The 2020 wedding season was a success! We want to thank the couples and families that worked with us through all the Covid-19 detours! Congratulations to you all!

Day 12 Fireworks A great thing about being located in the middle of nowhere is that we can do fireworks! What an amazing way to treat your guests by surprising them with a 15 minute light show over the lake! Even in the snow or pouring rain, guests will be protected by the covered porch and will always remember your special day!

Day 11 Bridesmaids and dancing Can’t forget about bridesmaids! It’s important to have your tribe with you and every wedding needs that dash of colored dresses! Whether you have just one or ten we have plenty of room for bridesmaids (and groomsmen) on the gazebo during the ceremony or at a nice long head table during the reception! We also have a nice big dance floor for all the dancing your tribe can handle throughout the evening.

Day 10 Fireplaces It certainly is the time of year for nice and cozy. We have two working fireplaces that can add to the ambiance of your wedding or event. They do get very hot very quickly, but offer a perfect backdrop for cozy photos! They also make great places to put memory items in honor of loved ones the day of your event.

Day 9 Groomsman We do not have a space for groomsman to get ready. However, if they come ready the porch and grounds are a perfect place to capture those manly moments!

Day 1 Let’s talk scenery! The Ballroom at Carey Lake sits on 200 acres of open fields, wooded backdrops and water front space. There are so many places for photos for couples only, the entire bridal party and even large group family photos. Any season is beautiful at the Ballroom!

12 days of Christmas The Ballroom version: Well 2020 has certainly been something. It wasn’t the year anyone expected, but we did the best with what we had at the time. We thought it would be fun to do a little year review to remember the good memories! Join us over the next 12 days and learn a little more about The Ballroom at Carey Lake.

Hi Brides! I’m the owner of The Ballroom at Carey Lake. My amazing staff and I have been just as devastated as you during this 2020 wedding season; lots of tears, frustration, anger, etc. We’ve worked so hard to support our families that have been willing to cut numbers, move dates, and even cancel weddings altogether. That being said, we had great success with the smaller and more intimate weddings this season. Being that we are located in Wayne county we are not bound by t...he 25 guest restriction. We can still hold 50 guests! Our location and space is well suited to everything on site: Ceremony indoors or outdoors, reception room right down the hall, beautiful outdoor porch, amazing fireplaces, neutral decor and the list goes on. If you’re looking for a space to hold your wedding and/or reception please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re more than happy to do in-person tours, help you with pricing over the phone or anything else you need.
