Town of Porter Recreation Department 27.12.2020

I'm sorry to inform you that due to COVID-19 and the prohibited safety restrictions there are for opening, the Town of Porter Summer Recreation Program has been cancelled. We hope to be open next year. Sorry for any inconvenience. Have a nice summer. The other adult programs that are sponsored by the Recreation Commission will resume as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Town of Porter Recreation Tai Chi on Fridays at the Village of Youngstown Center has been cancelled until next Spring. Please call Jeff at 531-0895 for other class availability.

Tai Chi will resume Friday September 20th at the Youngstown Village Center 240 Lockport Road in the Cora Gushee Room 11:00. See you there.

No chair yoga September 3rd. Class will resume next week. Yoga at 6:30 pm on Tuesday September 3rd will be held in the village of Youngstown Community Center up stairs in the Cora Gushee room.

Town of Porter Recreation has relocated some of their adult recreation programs for the Fall session. Tuesday mat yoga will be at the Village of Youngstown center Tuesday evenings 6:30 in the Cora Gushee room. All are welcome. Tai Chi is still at the park, Fridays 11:00, but will come inside later in September. Chair yoga Tuesday morning at 9:30 will continue for the Fall session. If you can’t make the Tuesday night yoga, there is another yoga class on Wednesday night 6:30 in... the Village of Youngstown gym. All programs are free for all participants. As of August 31 there will not be hall walking or any other Recreation programs for the Fall session at the former Stevenson School. See more
