Tres Dias

We have an update. Susan is recovering and has actually been able to go home. She thanks everyone for their prayers as she feels that is what sustained her and carried her through. Continue to offer your prayers as she begins her recovery.

This an URGENT PRAYER REQUEST. As you’ve probably heard, Sue Farkas underwent thyroid surgery today. It was supposed to be a fairly straight-forward procedure where she might have had to stay overnight as it was done later in the day. However, Denny just called to say that she’s had serious complications and asked me to send out an urgent prayer request!! I don’t have all the details, but evidently the surgery went on much longer than expected; including some involvement wi...th the trachea. She’s currently unconscious, intubated and on a respirator with fluid in her lungs (aspiration?). Her blood pressure is dangerously high (over 200/130) and she’s being treated with steroids, etc. Although it’s too soon to know a prognosis, her current status seems critical! Please pray for Sue (and Denny) and put them on any prayer chains you’re associated with as it seems at this point that God’s miraculous intervention will be critical for Sue’s recovery! Denny is the President of the TDI Secretariat and Susan is the Secretary. PRAY for them and the doctors and nurses attending to Sue.
