However, there can only be one top spot! This fish was a pure giant! Starting off our Montauk season, in a jumbo way! Not only a giant, but this mans first striped bass! I hope your hooked, because you may never beat this one!! ... Big congrats to Chris Bozeth on your giant 54lb beauty!! When your ready, reach out to schedule next years trip, you earned it!!! Well, I have been putting this off as long as possible. Unfortunately, the trophy class vessel has come down with motor issues. We have tried to get them straightened out, but can’t seem to get them right. Unfortunately, with the time left in my season, ending sept 15th, by the time it’s fixed there won’t be much of a season to salvage. Therefore, this will be the end of 2019 for trophy class. It was a great season, so many firsts and personal bests this year! For those of you... that still had upcoming trips I do apologize, i hate to do this, believe me. But don’t lose faith, next year we hope to be bigger and even better!! I thank everyone that has supported us! I look forward to getting you out in the future. The time to grab your spot for next season is now, there are a ton of dates already filled! Stay tuned for the end of season recap and announcements! Til next time, tight lines.. Capt mike

Yesterday was overall just a great day on the water! A limit of jumbo seabass, a solid fluke, an awesome top water blitz of schoolie bass, and then the jumbos came out to play after dark! Fish over 40lbs for everyone on the boat! Personal bests for two anglers! Fish after fish, drift after drift!! Largest nearing the 45lb mark!! A special note. Not that I want to point out someone’s sea sickness, but Alexa realized she’s made for The land lol, however she toughed out sea sic...kness way better then most men I’ve dealt with! Pole stayed in hand the whole time, and put the breaks to a beauty of a 40lbr!! Way to go! Capt mike 845-283-6098

The boys from jersey and pa, realized QUICK, why you make the drive to fish Montauk! It took all of 30 seconds to hook the first bass of the night, and about 15 seconds after that, the second! We kept that pace up for a good few hours. Big bass after big bass! All fish released except for 1 30lb fish for the table, it was one of the smallest we landed! It was quite rough last night so pics are not the greatest. Several fish topped the 40lb mark! We were supposed to do a co...mplete all nighter, but the wind proved to be worse then called for, and once the tide turned against it, it got quite nasty! They stuck it out as long as they could, but thinking about the 20-30 Big bass already landed, there was no need to get beat up any longer! Unfortunately the wind is building and only supposed to get worse, it will for sure keep us off the water for Atleast a few days, we’ll keep an eye how the rest of the weeks forecast goes Some spots left for this year, or book now for next year! Little recap from the week... Overall the bass fishing was a little tough this week. The Stars aligned for our boys Tuesday night, when we got the window, they made the best of it and put several jumbos on the deck, with 3 breaking 40lbs and personal bests all around!... Most of the rest of the week, we had to work for them, many of the fish falling into the eater size, to mid 30lb class. Never know when your stars will align, you gotta be in it to win it. Bottom fishing was overall all good this week, some days better then others. We saw sea bass to 5+ lbs this week, with limits if you wanted to target them. We did have one of the best over all sea bass limits I’ve had, with a 3 man limit averaging 3.2lbs each, all jumbos. Just over 29lbs of seabass for a boat limit! We put some effort into fluke a couple days, and were rewarded with some nice action! Tons of shorts to keep you busy, but with keepers mixed in up to 8.5lbs! All in all a good week on the water! Yesterday’s bottom fishing was overall pretty well. We didn’t fish long but Easy limits of seabass. Lots of short fluke but can work for keepers. We did manage a legit 5lb+ sea bass. A true knuckle head! I didn’t take any good pics unfortunately, but upon cleaning it, it had a good section of a pretty sizable lobster tail in it! Nice and fresh too, looked like it was ready to cook! Ferocious fish they are, and they eat good!

Had to work to find them, and the bite didn’t last long, but when it was on, it was on!
