Highlights from our virtual MLK Jr. and Community Heroes Portrait Workshop on Jan 15, inspired by Faith Ringgold's artwork and others...thanks to WOGC Fellow Huibing He for showing us how to draw portraits and sharing some wonderful examples of artwork to learn from. Just in the nick of the time, we did some cleanup, spring bulb planting, and winter weather prep in the Fresh Oils Community Garden this morning. It is finally up! Our crocheted flowers and leaves from our online yarn circle community weekly meetings this spring and summer have come together into a beautiful floral installation.
