What a ride! 6 years ago I took the name Ishvari in Sivananda linage and started teaching yoga in NYC. Two years ago I took the name Reigetsu in Rinzai Zen tradition, it's been an amaizing decade with practice at the monastery in NY, Catskills. In 2019 I took the name Thubten Khadro and started guiding meditation in Tibetan Shantideva Center. My first Vipassana, silent retreat was on the border of Burma and Thailand in 2014. Stay in the monastery was free but I needed to... save up to go there for a winter bartending during the summer in Brooklyn and Times sq I went West to go East, and now West again.
