At the heart of our new South Side Pick Up menu are a collection of items built around our in-house sourdough starter. 100 Acres sourdough bread is naturally leavened with local, active wild yeasts and lacto bacteria. It all begins with our in-house sourdough starter which has been carefully maintained for almost four years, enhancing complexity and nuance over time. We’re focusing on the at-home experience as we pause indoor dining for the winter. We won't be surprised if Merriam-Webster chooses "pivot" as the word of the year. Pivot: a movement in which the player may move in any direction with one foot, while keeping the other firmly planted. We know that the past seven months have been a series of pivots for us all.... At 100 Acres, we have kept one foot firmly planted in our commitments to ingredient-focused menus and welcoming service, while taking each opportunity to move in a new direction that connects our community to what is needed at that moment. From holiday boxes for at-home celebrations to alfresco picnics, CSA bags, 100 Acres pantry items, patio dining, jazz on the lawn, and pop-up weddings: we hope that 100 Acres has continued to evolve toward what our community needs now. While creating a comfortable patio option for dining has been fun, looking toward the late autumn and winter months has caused us to deal with the reality of cold weather. With careful consideration, we have decided to pivot once more, away from in-person dining and toward South Side Pick Up. Beginning next week, we are pausing indoor dining for the winter to focus on the at-home experience for our community. We look forward to sharing with you the new directions our offerings will take. Expect the same focus on seasonal ingredients and quality dishes, all done in a way that enhances your take-home experience. And don't worry, even when we pivot we're committed to keeping one foot firmly planted in all that makes 100 Acres, 100 Acres. We've said it before, and we will say it again, we've got your back Buffalo and we know you've got ours.
